Arim is a visual designer who practices in and around the fields of graphic design, research, writing, and art. She is interested in computation, material exploration, narrative approaches, and communal frameworks as ways of unraveling the intricacies and poetics of language, human-machine interaction, and identity through design.
Previously based in Los Angeles and Seoul, she is currently in Switzerland, where she is an MDes/MAS candidate at the Basel Academy of Art and Design (FHNW Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst) and the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC).
